Our History
Miratek was the first in the world to develop a Surround View Monitoring (SVM) system for commercial vehicles in 2010. Miratek’s products have been applied to various commercial vehicles in Germany, buses in Italy, tanks and construction equipment in Korea, Australia, and Sweden, and logistics vehicles in the United States.
In 2013, Miratek developed an SVM system that could be installed in passenger cars and sold it to various customers. Miratek designs and develops SVM systems, wide-angle cameras, and applications. It has been successfully operating in the automotive parts market.
Miratek has a proud history of innovation, led by our CEO, Wonin Baek, who was the first in South Korea and the third in the world to develop and mass-produce the SVM system. We made another breakthrough as the first in the world to develop an SVM system specifically designed for trailers. Continuing our legacy of pioneering advancements, we also became the first to propose the Smart Trailer System, setting a new standard in the industry.
Our Strategy
We focus on product planning and development, as well as quality control, rather than direct employment. We propose suitable products to our customers and present a development roadmap that aligns with those proposals. We complete development according to the roadmap and mass-produce the products to deliver to our customers.
Recently, Miratek has been pushing for product diversification plans to add more values for our customers by modularizing components. As part of these plans, we are developing batteries based on Hybrid Capacitor technology. We are preparing to supply more valuable Smart Trailer System products to our customers by modularizing SVM, TEMPS (fire detection system), solar panels and batteries.
Furthermore, we supply modularized LED Bar Lighting System and Fan System to our customers.
